WordPress and SEO Guide for Beginners
WordPress & SEO:
WordPress and SEO are two different terms. But both are incomplete without each other. If you are running a WordPress site then you must know the importance of SEO in current time. SEO is very necessary nowadays. Without SEO, you cannot rank in Search Engine.
About WordPress:
WordPress is basically a PHP based CMS which is used to create attractive sites and blogs. You can also create E-Commerce websites with WordPress. It is widely used and loved by users. Its flexibility, themes, plugins and easy user interface makes it most lovable CMS.
In my website WPMaster, I am using the latest version of WordPress. It is the most secure version of WP. The main advantage of WP is that you didn't have to be a coding master. We do not require any coding skills to use in WordPress. It is just a drag and drop based CMS. We have thousand of themes and plugins for it. We can customize it according to our choice.
About SEO:
On the other hand, SEO is a completely different thing. SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization and it is a process of improving web page or website ranking. We use two different techniques in SEO which are as follows:
- On Page SEO
- Off Page SEO
In On Page SEO we concentrate the available data of website pages like content, links, title, meta description, images, alt tags, embedded media, quality of content, content uniqueness and several other things. As we know duplicate content is now not tolerable by Google. A complete guide to SEO 2017 is given on my site.
Off Page, SEO is quite different from On Page SEO. Off page SEO have nothing to do with content and site assets. In this, we use different techniques like Link building, SMO, SEM of content, Submissions etc.
So guys if you have WordPress or any other website then it must be fully optimized to rank better in Search Engine. If it is not then you will face the poor ranking problem. So always optimize your site for SEO.
